  • PC‑CARE is an evidence‑based, dyadic intervention for families with children (typically ages 1–10) and their caregivers. The model is designed to strengthen the caregiver–child relationship, improve behavior management, and reduce trauma‑related or behavior‑related symptoms in young children. At MPWR Therapy Inc., our PC-CARE Certified Trainer (UC Davis) provides training and certification support to professionals.

    PC‑CARE Training & Certification Path

    • Phase I: 6-hour skill‑building workshop ($400)

    • Phase II:  Experiential Training & Certification with 7 week in-depth didactic calls on each session protocol (1 hour each), followed by 7 individual prep calls with trainer (30-minutes each) and video review, feedback, and competency sign-off for certification ($2,300)

PC‑CARE’s core approach combines teaching and real‑time coaching: caregivers and children attend weekly sessions in which a therapist supports and guides the caregiver as they interact with the child, offering strategies informed by behavioral and trauma‑sensitive frameworks.
